Our Mission

Harness the unique benefits of fully virtual education —rising above geographical restrictions to unlock every student's promise and amplify each teacher's influence, wherever they are.

Subject Virtual School
Who We Are.
known as an online microschool—we are a small, private, virtual school. SVS was founded in 2020, stemming from the need for high-quality, accessible, and equitable education that arose during the pandemic. Our founders both experienced the systemic inequities of the traditional education system and built Subject Virtual School to ensure all students across the world have access to an exceptional education experience.
Subject Virtual School
Our Program.
We offer a high school program with courses that include special-education-aligned accommodations for students with diverse learning needs, targeted MTSS supports for each student, credit recovery courses, Advanced Placement courses, and specialty career and technical pathways that align with particular state standards and course approval lists.
We offer an alternative educational experience to the students who need it most - regardless of zipcode, background, history, or identity.
